Welcome to POLYSEMA

The POLYSEMA project proposes a infrastructure for audio / visual and multimedia content management in interactive environment. This infrastructure is based on the semantic metadata that content, potentially, can transport.

The main objective of POLYSEMA is the development of required infrastructure for a smart multimedia gateway, that will manage ingoing and stored multimedia content with semantic metadata. This infrastructure will increase application area and improve the use of multimedia applications in residential environments. The POLYSEMA began in June 2006 and will be completed in 18 months.
